Blinding - Graphic Novel

A small section of my graphic novel I will be submitting for my minor project based upon music imagery. This is an on-going project that i will complete at a later date but i'm happy with the feel and style it is progressing towards. 

It is intended to be projected onto a large wall in order for the audience to be full immersed in the experience. 

Acetate Acetate

Been trying to show how i would like my graphic novel to look in terms of a projection film made up of layers of my own illustrations. I'm starting work on it this Tuesday so i'm hoping all will go to plan in terms of how i'm imagining it to look.

I've printed my scanned images onto acetate then re-scaned them and i really like the vibrant colour and the way the layers work so well. This is a perfect representation of how i want my projected graphic novel to look so you are guided through the song 'Blinding' with flickering images, movement and different layers.

The book once finished is intended to work with the song to be read as you listen to it.

The beginnings of my graphic novel based upon song imagery for the song Blinding by Florence and the Machine. 

I was having trouble getting my ideas onto paper and i think the combination of stress and an approaching deadline helped me to just get on with it and it seems to be going quite well.
