That time of year again.
It's that time of year again when I start making christmas.
This year i'm thinking of going for lino cut deer prints. Obviously black and pink aren't appropriate christmas colours(i'll sort that out some time soon) I was just trying out the prints to see how they looked. I love Christmas.

White Rabbit
Lino cut print of the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland where I have used the original book illustrations.
I need to experiment with cutting techniques and how to produce the clearest results in the final print.

Lino Printing
first casualty
Yesterday I bought some lino printing materials and decided to have a go for the first time today.
I used an owl drawing of my own that I thought would work well to carve out as it wasn't too detailed.
Really good fun and i'm going to attempt to do some more and experiment with colour, layers, and reppetition.
