Home Run

I'm almost finished(YAY) just need to add text, scan it and create the book.

Emergency cup of green tea

I found a really great image of a girl by Eduardo Recife, really like the presence and dreamy feel.

Progress so far.

The waking world

Continuation of my graphic novel based upon the song 'Blinding' by Florence + the Machine.
The book once finished is intended to work with the song to be read as you listen to it.

That time of year again.

It's that time of year again when I start making christmas.
This year i'm thinking of going for lino cut deer prints. Obviously black and pink aren't appropriate christmas colours(i'll sort that out some time soon) I was just trying out the prints to see how they looked. I love Christmas.

'Blinding' work continued.

The beginnings of my graphic novel based upon song imagery for the song Blinding by Florence and the Machine.
I was having trouble getting my ideas onto paper and i think the combination of stress and an approaching deadline helped me to just get on with it and it seems to be going quite well.

Counting crows

I've moved away from my original song choice and decided to focus upon imagery within the song Blinding by Florence + the Machine.
I've managed to brainstorm a set of images that works well for about the first 18 seconds of the begining of the song and I think it works out quite well in relation to atmosphere and meaning.
Any comments are welcome.

Marbling

Marbling, and brainstorming imagery for my chosen songs Hyperballad by Bjork and Neighbourhood #3 (Power Out) by Arcade Fire.

Work in progress

Been experimenting with marbling using inks and paints as a way of research towards my minor project. I thought they would work well with the subject created my music and the surrealism created.
I had to add oil to the water to create a resistance between the paint and the water.
