Critical Roles brief - Dale Farm eviction

Examples of still frames from my latest uni brief about the evition of Dale Farm. I have chosen to focus upon the actions and emotional struggle the travellers have faced. Is this wrong or is it right?

My final outcome will be a short film which will include the images above and extras.

Fox sketch

I recently forked out and bought a mechanical pencil to help with my illustration techniques and this is an example of my first attempt at using it.

I'm still in the process of finding and developing my style in terms of becoming an illustrator and through experimentation i have grown to show a fond interest in detailed line drawings. 

With the mechanical pencil the stokes are more constructed and show a form of structure as a-pose to a regular HB sketching pencil where the lines can be chaotic and more freely drawn.

Although i'm not entirely happy with the proportion of the fox head i feel it is a step in the right direction to finding my style:) 

My "Art Studio"

So I thought it would be a good idea to share with you all the place I do all my art work and the place where all my ideas and creations are made.

Now i know it's not a bright, airy, secluded studio with paint on the walls and odd inspiring objects dotted around with an easel in the corner but my dining room table is the one place in my house where i always do my work. It's somewhere i can spread out all my organised clutter onto the table, surround myself with my iPod, art materials, sketching pencils, sketchbooks and shut myself off from everyone else in my house.

I know it's nothing exciting or remotely "arty" in appearance but it's an important place to me where my thoughts and creativity can become reality.


So until i win the lottery or find my own place this will continue to be my "Art Studio"
